BONDURANT, Iowa - After a bitter stretch of cold, lakes and ponds in Iowa are starting to freeze over, and that's good for ice fishermen who are ready to get out.
Chief of Fisheries with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Joe Larscheid gave KXCV/KRNW several tips for staying safe on the ice.
Larscheid also says it will be a safe recreation if you stay on your toes and fish in safe areas.KXCV-KRNW
